Mike is a medical device executive and serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience, inventor of over 130 issued U.S patents, and a passion for purposeful innovation to help patients. Mike holds a BSME from the University of Delaware and a Masters In Mechanical Engineering from UC Davis.

His 4th startup, DeVoro Medical, was acquired by Boston Scientific in 2021 for a total value of $400M.  DeVoro is focused on disrupting the growing peripheral thrombectomy space with its novel WOLF thrombectomy platform.

Mike has also been fortunate to be part of 3 other successful startup exits that he Co-founded:  TW Medical - a neurovascular intra aneurysmal solution acquired by Stryker, GW Medical Neuro WOLF Solution- acquired by Stryker and CardioProlific – a Peripheral Vascular solutions company acquired by Philips. Mike was previously the CTO & VP Operations of Silk Road Medical (NASDAQ: SILK), Exec VP of R&D and Operations at Baxano, VP of R&D at Boston Scientific (Neuro Vascular and Electrophysiology Divisions), VP of R&D at BarrX Medical, and an R&D Manager at Target Therapeutics.
