Our Interns
Each summer, ShangBay Capital welcomes a select group of highly promising young individuals from colleges across the nation, including Stanford, UC Berkeley, Cornell, NYU, Johns Hopkins, Duke, UCLA, Santa Clara University, and more, to learn the inner workings of venture capital. Prior interns have gone on to work at exciting organizations such as McKinsey, BlackRock, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Bain & Company, Yahoo, UBS, Accenture, PwC Consulting, KPMG Consulting, Chewy Inc and the Universal Music Group.

Our 2026 cohort consists of students, in-person and remote, majoring in Business, Economics, and STEM at top institutions.
Team Bonding
Consisting of students pursuing diverse academic backgrounds, interns are placed in an accelerated growth environment where they can share their experiences and learn from one another.
Weekly Pitch Sessions
Our team participates in early discussions of deal sourcing where interns are enabled to share their research and gain invaluable insight behind the process.
